First Leap is a Chinese nationwide teaching corporation. As the new kid on the block it sells itself on being a teaching institution with a content language integrated learning (CLIL) curriculum. The students learn through creatively designed lessons in subjects such as; art, music, world culture, global leadership, science, reading, virtual PE and logical thinking. First Leap uses its own in house developed curriculum, which includes pre-prepared lesson plans and Chinese co-teachers to support Foreign teachers in delivering classes. The company has excellent, modern facilities and teaching support material including interactive whiteboards and a wealth of props for lessons.
The company is based in Beijing and has now branched out to cities around China, claiming to now have grown to over 100 centres in China, some of which a directly owned, with many others as franchises.
